A great camp has ended

It feels so weird writing about it, it has only been just a few days. Normal life is taking over, with every passing day washing away a little bit of the feeling of IAYC 2011. We had a great camp in Tremesek, with 61 people, 7 working groups focusing on various topics in astronomy and related subjects.

This year we had a few special national highlights, with participants coming from far, like Paraguay, Nepal, Indonesia, creating a unique international atmosphere I have yet to encounter outside of IAYC. And of course who could forget the Spanish Armada! Finally we leared how snowfall sounds in Basque country (Mara-mara), how an Indian wedding looks like and that Polish and Indonesian girls can make everyone dance.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this camp happen, especially to those who haven't been able to go to the camp themselves. Special thanks to the owners of the camphouse for making us feel home and for organising those great fried cheese dinners.
